VENDING POLICY AND PHILOSOPHY OF THE AFRICAN MARKETPLACE &
CULTURAL FAIRE:
Who Can Vend/Exhibit?
The African Marketplace takes pride in its effort to create inter-cultural
relationships through a convergence of cultures representing the Pan-African
community, and those in other cultures who have embraced the influence
of African culture. Anyone can vend at the African Marketplace, as long
as the product or service fits the description of being influenced or
manufactured by the global African Diaspora community. Product and service
quality and diversity are also used to determine vendor or product acceptance.
There are special dates for vending products or services related to
the following themes: Pacific Island Festival; Brazilian Festival; Salsa
Festival; A Taste of Africa; Caribbean Festival; Pow Wow and Brazilian
Music & Cultural Festival.
